Elahe Tavakolian dedicated the Minerva Award to all Iranian fighters

Elahe Tavakolian, one of the protesters who lost her eye due to being shot by government forces during the Woman, Life, Freedom protests in Mashhad, received the 32nd Minerva Award in Rome, the capital of Italy.

Ms. Tavakolian, who was shot on September 20th last year, underwent surgery in Italy at the beginning of April this year.

On Thursday, April 13th, while receiving the Minerva Award for powerful and influential women, she dedicated this award to all fighters in Iran, especially all those who lost their eyes in the protests.
