Electric car leasing for 100 euros per month in France

French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Thursday the launch of an electric car leasing system for 100 euros per month, primarily aimed at benefiting the middle and low-income groups in society.

According to him, the implementation of this program will start on January 1, 2024, and within its framework, at least 20,000 cars of this type will be offered to applicants in 2024, with the number of these cars gradually increasing.

Mr. Macron also stated in a video released on social media that as part of France’s environmental planning and to continue reducing pollutant gas emissions in the country, we need to replace our so-called thermal vehicles with electric ones.
