Elham Rahimi Fard, the defense lawyer for Tataloo, said Tataloo is reading the Quran and fasting in prison.
Tataloo’s defense lawyer stated, ‘Before being chosen as the defense lawyer for the accused, I had no knowledge of him, so I cannot make any judgments in this regard. However, during this time, I have realized that my client is a very calm person with a sensitive and gentle spirit.’
He tries to spend most of his time in prison reading the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha, watching television, and engaging in his artistic activities such as writing poetry and music. According to him, my client fasted for the entire month of Ramadan.
Since his arrest, Tataloo has talked about repentance, which might influence his sentence, but how much it will affect depends on the judicial system.
