Elnaz Rekabi's Outfit Accidentally Had Issues

Elnaz Rekabi accidentally had an issue with her attire

Elnaz Rekabi, our national athlete in rock climbing, who participated in the finals of the Asian Championships without a hijab, coinciding with the nationwide protests in Iran against mandatory hijab, posted a story on her Instagram today. She said, ‘Greetings to the dear and honorable people of Iran. I, Elnaz Rekabi, with twenty years of experience as a member of the national rock climbing team, would like to apologize for the concerns I have caused. I must announce that due to the existing sensitivities during the finals of the Asian Championships held in South Korea, and because of inappropriate timing and an unexpected call for me to climb the wall, I accidentally had an issue with my attire. Currently, according to the pre-determined schedule, I am returning to Iran with the team.’
