Elon Musk will step down from managing Twitter after finding a successor
Elon Musk has said that he will step down from his position after finding a successor who is foolish enough to accept managing Twitter.
He had previously promised to accept the result of a Twitter poll about whether he should continue or resign from managing Twitter. 57.5% of participants voted for him to step down from this position.
Mr. Musk says that even after finding a new CEO for Twitter, he will oversee the software and server teams of the company. The changes he implemented after acquiring Twitter in October have faced widespread criticism.
In the meantime, he has fired about half of the company’s staff and monetized the blue checkmark, which signifies account verification.
