Elon Musk’s AI, Grok, will release a feature film next year.
Elon Musk, CEO of xAI, announced that the AI chatbot Grok will produce its first feature film before the end of next year.
He wrote in a post on the social network X that Grok will produce a film before the end of next year that will be at least watchable, and by 2027, it will make really good films.
Details about the genre or duration of the film have not been released yet, but Musk announced this news in response to a user who praised Grok’s visual capabilities.
Grok’s entry into filmmaking comes at a time when the use of AI in cinema is still controversial.
The Hollywood actors’ union considers it a threat to the future of actors, but figures like James Cameron have a positive view. He has said it is crucial to master and control it so that it remains an artistic tool and does not replace artists.
Musk also announced that the first video game created with AI by the xAI studio will be released before the end of next year.
