Elon Musk’s Unexpected Trip to China

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has traveled to Beijing on an unannounced visit to negotiate with senior officials of the country.

Reuters reported that he landed at Beijing International Airport on Sunday, April 29th, with a private jet registered to a company associated with SpaceX and Tesla.

The news agency, citing a knowledgeable source, stated that Mr. Musk is set to discuss with senior Chinese officials, including Premier Li Qiang, about the launch of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) software and the license for data transfer abroad.

In a report by China’s state television network CCTV on the meeting between Elon Musk and Li Qiang, there was no mention of FSD technology as one of the topics discussed by the two parties.
