Emad Afroogh: I am not satisfied with being labeled as a principlist.
Emad Afroogh: Voting for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was the biggest mistake of my life.
Of course, I emphasize again that that vote should be viewed in its own time context. Meaning if I had today’s experience, I certainly wouldn’t have voted for him. But if I went back to those days without current experience, it’s natural I would vote for him again. But overall, yes, that was my biggest mistake.
I believe that I am not a principlist. What kind of principlist is it that does not want to bring about reforms based on its principles? And what kind of reformist is it whose principles are unclear? Therefore, your interpretation is correct, and I am a reformist principlist in the semantic domain, not the conventional political sense. I am committed to my principles but also welcome reforms.
