End of rumors about the health of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran
This morning, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, attended a mourning ceremony of student groups held at the Imam Khomeini Hosseiniyeh to put an end to all the rumors that had arisen in recent days regarding his health and even speculations about his life.
Contrary to the protocol of such ceremonies, the Supreme Leader gave a brief speech, which might have been due to the recent rumors.
In these brief remarks, he expressed regret that due to COVID-19 restrictions, it was not possible to host other participants at the ceremony, and he sent his greetings to all of them from afar, wishing them success.
At this ceremony, which was attended by several officials including the President, with eulogies by Meysam Motiee, a eulogist favored by the Supreme Leader, and a religious speech, the attendees engaged in mourning.
Last week, amid the rumors and doubts about Ayatollah Khamenei’s health and life by international media, which continued until yesterday, Iran Gate, in an exclusive report, explained the reasons for the cancellation of Ayatollah Khamenei’s meeting with the Assembly of Experts and acted to refute these rumors. This report is accessible on the Iran Gate website and Instagram page.
Another article on Iran Gate titled ‘Experts Behind the Closed Doors of the Supreme Leader’s House’ was published, addressing this news.
