Ansieh Khazali: My son’s trip to Canada is for work
Yesterday afternoon, news was released about the immigration of the son of Ansieh Khazali, the deputy of Ebrahim Raisi in women’s and family affairs.
Just a few hours later, Didarnews confirmed this news, quoting Mehdi Khazali, Ansieh Khazali’s brother. Mehdi Khazali responded to this news outlet with just two words: ‘It’s true,’ and did not provide further explanation.
However, at 11:44 PM last night, Ansieh Khazali claimed in a series of tweets that her son has not immigrated but has traveled to Canada to develop and support a knowledge-based company active in Iran and will return to the country in the coming months.
Meanwhile, this morning, journalist Saeed Aghanji tweeted about the residency of Khazali’s daughter-in-law in Canada and the residence of her son and grandson in this country. Aghanji wrote:
Ansieh Khazali, the Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, who is one of the most hardline figures in Raisi’s government and a friend of Jamileh Alamolhoda, Raisi’s wife, has a daughter-in-law, Zohreh Azimi, who has Canadian residency. Her son, Yasin Rezazadeh, and his wife, Hamidreza Rezazadeh, Khazali’s son, reside in Canada.
