Arrival of F-22 Raptor Tactical Fighters in the Middle East

CENTCOM, the United States Central Command, announced on its official page on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday, August 18, the arrival of F-22 Raptor tactical fighters in the Middle East.

CENTCOM stated that the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor fighters have entered the region as part of a military posture change to counter threats from Iran and its supported groups.

The United States had previously deployed 12 warships in the Middle East.
