CENTCOM, the Central Command of the US Forces, announced on its official Twitter page on Friday, August 9, the deployment of F-22 Raptor tactical fighters to the Middle East.

CENTCOM stated that the F-22 Raptor fighters of the US Air Force have entered the region as part of a military redeployment in the area to counter threats from Iran and its supported groups in the region.

The United States had previously stationed 12 warships in the Middle East.
