Erdogan: Iran’s Provocative Actions Threaten Ankara-Tehran Friendship

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned that Tehran’s provocative actions are endangering friendly relations with Ankara after NATO systems intercepted a second Iranian missile.

In response to the launch of a second ballistic missile from Iran into Turkish territory, the Turkish President urged Tehran to refrain from provocative and incorrect actions, emphasizing previous warnings.

Erdogan stated that despite our sincere warnings, very incorrect and provocative actions are still being carried out, which jeopardize Turkey’s friendship. Such behavior should not occur.

He added that insistence and stubbornness in carrying out incorrect actions should be avoided.
