Erdogan warned Israel against indiscriminate attacks on Gaza

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, and Isaac Herzog, his Israeli counterpart, discussed the latest developments in Israel and Palestine and tensions in the region during a phone call on Monday.

Erdogan warned that any action leading to mass or indiscriminate harm to the people of Gaza would increase suffering and the cycle of violence in the region.

The Turkish President further told Herzog that common sense should prevail and reminded him that establishing immediate calm is crucial for the welfare and benefit of the entire region.

Erdogan also noted that Turkey’s efforts to end regional conflicts and ensure lasting peace will continue.
