Etemad’s letter to Raisi: The strange thing is that he claims he has fulfilled his promises.
Abbas Abdi wrote in Etemad newspaper that, in general, the promises made by Mr. Raisi were flawed and defective in several ways, and this was not something hidden from anyone. Therefore, from the very beginning, it was clear that these promises were not achievable.
Now, no one is surprised that they haven’t been fulfilled, and it would have been a natural event if they had been. We should be surprised if it were otherwise. So why insist on criticizing this situation?
The main goal is for government officials to realize that their approach to the economy, the country’s resources, and their own capabilities has not been scientific and correct, and it still isn’t. At least at this stage, they need to correct this approach.
But instead of accepting this reality, the government continues to seek excuses and justify the reasons for not fulfilling its promises. Worse still, they are trying to prove the false claim that we have fulfilled our promises.
