Etemad newspaper: Only 10 billion dollars remain in the National Development Fund

Etemad wrote that, as recently announced by the Parliament’s Research Center, the thirteenth government not only has not settled its debt of about 250 trillion rials to the National Development Fund from the year 2022, but it is also expected that with the issuance of a permit to withdraw 20% from the fund’s resources in 2023, about 1,700 trillion rials will be added to this amount. Thus, it is predicted that the government’s debt to the National Development Fund will reach 1,950 trillion rials by the end of this year.

This newspaper wrote that the National Development Fund is a 150 billion dollar fund, of which about 100 billion dollars have been withdrawn by various governments, and about 40 billion dollars have been provided as loans. Therefore, only 10 billion dollars of resources remain in this fund.
