The Islamic Republic newspaper wrote that in the final days of the year, the pressure of high prices, inflation, and the government’s lack of economic policy have exhausted the people, leading everyone to protest.
The situation is so chaotic that members of parliament, along with the government, have protested the government’s inability and the poor performance of officials in organizing the chaotic economic situation and have called for government oversight on prices and controlling inflation.
According to representatives, the government has a critical duty and responsibility in controlling the economic situation, which it is either not fulfilling or is unable to fulfill.
While the thirteenth government initially promised the people that it would resolve the problems of previous governments and make the situation prosperous for the people, unfortunately, statistics and evidence show that in the year that was supposed to be one of controlling inflation, as recommended by the leadership, inflation and high prices have risen more than ever.
More regrettably, the sound of further price increases for the coming year can already be heard, and if the situation continues in the same manner, worrisome and fragile conditions are expected. Therefore, it is necessary for the wise and those who care about the fate of the people and the country to find a solution before it is too late.
