European Union leaders called for a halt to the conflicts in Gaza
On Thursday, European Union leaders called for a halt to the conflicts between Israel and Hamas to allow humanitarian aid to be sent to Gaza. This decision was made after several days of disagreement among EU member countries.
In a statement agreed upon by the leaders of the 27 EU countries at the Brussels meeting, they expressed deep concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and called for continuous, rapid, safe, and unimpeded access for humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
