Europeans no longer tweet; the European Union has threatened Elon Musk
The first news after the virtual and official meeting between Thierry Breton, a senior commissioner of the European Union and one of the most important decision-makers on cyber and digital affairs, and Elon Musk was his official threat regarding the issues arising on the social network owned by Elon Musk.
He has officially warned that with Elon Musk canceling content control programs on Twitter and creating a dangerous environment, there is a serious threat to social and civic security. Twitter is becoming a structure that conflicts with European Union laws.
Breton has informed Musk that if he does not amend his approach and continues the current path, heavy fines and even a ban on activity will be imposed against Twitter.
The initial news should be considered alongside what took place in the meeting between the two parties and in fact, in the course of Musk’s interaction with the European Union. There is a serious interest in the Union for cooperation with Musk, and it is unlikely that given the cordial atmosphere of the meeting and Musk’s importance as an owner of various industries, they would easily remove him from the European business scene.
