According to some reports from Iran Gate News Agency sources, the evaluation of governmental security institutions regarding the dollar’s price until the end of the current year is estimated to be in the range of 140 to 150 thousand tomans. This topic has been discussed in joint meetings of security institutions, the Economic Security Police, and editors of major domestic media outlets. On the other hand, it is said that some authorities believe that if the current political conditions stabilize by the end of spring 1405 (2026), the dollar rate might even reach the ceiling of 200 thousand tomans. Of course, this estimate is based on the assumption that the current conditions in the country will continue. It is worth noting that the lack of public reaction to the increase in gasoline prices has somewhat reassured security officials regarding potential protests against the increase in the dollar’s price.
