Is the earthquake that Shom Zolghadr remains the administrator or does Rezaei become the secretary?
Mohammad Amin Bagherikani has claimed regarding the recent developments in the Supreme National Security Council that Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr has been removed from the leadership representation in this council and Mohsen Rezaei has replaced him. According to his writings, considering the position of the leader’s representative in the council, removing this responsibility from the secretary of the council practically limits the secretary’s position to managing the secretariat’s affairs. Bagherikani also wrote that Zolghadr resigned for this reason, but the president did not accept his resignation.
Bagherikani further linked the change of the leader’s representative in the Supreme National Security Council to Zolghadr’s stance regarding the agreement with America and claimed that his positive vote for this agreement did not align with the leader’s opinion on this matter. He referred to this change as an indication of what he called the lack of alignment of the leader’s representative in the council with the leader’s fundamental viewpoint and wrote that if this interpretation is correct, the leader’s opinion was clear to the council members before the agreement was signed.
He also raised the issue of public trust, referring to recent emphases on the necessity of public trust in officials, and called for more transparency in decision-making regarding this issue. Bagherikani also asked the Speaker of the Parliament to request the president to make a decision about the current situation as soon as possible and urged those who emphasize the need to maintain unity to pursue the same demand from the officials.
