Extradition of Wanted Individuals as Part of New Tehran-Baghdad Agreement

Extradition of Wanted Individuals is One of the New Agreement Points Between Tehran and Baghdad

Following reactions to the security agreements between Iran and Iraq on Sunday, Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, announced that the two countries have agreed on the extradition of wanted individuals.

In a statement sent to the Al Jazeera news network, he declared that Iraq opposes any attack on its neighbors from its territory, and in return, the relations between Iran, the United States, and some neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf should not negatively impact Iraq’s stability.
