Iravani, the representative of the Islamic Republic at the United Nations, stated that we are ready to transfer some of our enriched uranium to a third country.

Amir Saeed Iravani, the representative of the Islamic Republic at the United Nations, announced in an interview with Al-Monitor news outlet that the Islamic Republic is prepared to transfer part of its enriched uranium to a third country.

Previously, The Wall Street Journal, citing its sources, reported that the Islamic Republic is in talks with Qatar and Oman to first establish a ceasefire with Israel and then begin negotiations. Reuters also wrote in a similar report that Oman has drafted a ceasefire proposal to resume negotiations.

In this draft, all enrichment activities are to be halted under the supervision of the agency for one to three years, with the possibility of 3.67% enrichment in the future and the creation of an enrichment consortium included.
