Eyravani: The Security Council should not undermine the implementation process of the Iran-US agreement
Amir Saeed Eyravani, Iran’s representative to the United Nations, called on the Security Council to refrain from holding meetings that could harm the diplomatic process, especially when technical negotiations are focused on implementing the Islamabad memorandum.
In the Security Council meeting, he dismissed and rejected the US accusations against Iran as baseless, stating that the priority should be the full implementation of the memorandum and continuing negotiations to reach a comprehensive agreement.
Eyravani also described the behavior of some Western Security Council members and the representative of Bahrain as hypocritical, saying they are not in a position to preach to others.
