Ezzatollah Zarghami: I Always Criticize the Headquarters for Enjoining Good

Ezzatollah Zarghami: I always have criticisms of the Headquarters for the Promotion of Virtue.

In an interview with ILNA reporter about his comments on the practice of promoting virtue and preventing vice on his personal Twitter, which drew reactions from members of parliament, Ezzatollah Zarghami said,

I always have criticisms of the Headquarters for the Promotion of Virtue. I believe that after all the unrest in the streets, interviews were conducted, and some officials are saying things again that are not appropriate at all. All the loyal and concerned forces of the society, not just political and social critics, even those who are like-minded and aligned with friends, are present in the field and strongly criticize such remarks. I also criticized it in my tweet. Everyone says that we do not need this promotion of virtue and prevention of vice because the effects are negative.
