Line for Student Facial Recognition to Enter Al-Zahra University

The Amir Kabir Newsletter, by publishing a photo of a line of students in front of the entrance of Al-Zahra University, has reported the installation of a facial recognition gate for entering this university.

According to the Amir Kabir Newsletter, students are required to pass through this gate to enter the university.

Previously, students at Al-Zahra University held a ceremony to commemorate Armita Geravand, one of the victims of nationwide protests at this university.

These actions coincide with the spread of civil disobedience in Iranian society, particularly regarding compulsory hijab, and opponents of this plan believe that the government is trying to make the university environment more security-focused.
