Fakhr al-Sadat Mohtashamipour Tajzadeh Said She Has No Safety in Prison

Fakhr al-Sadat Mohtashami Pour said Tajzadeh feels unsafe in prison

Fakhr al-Sadat Mohtashami Pour, the wife of Mostafa Tajzadeh, spoke to a Maniban reporter about her husband’s current situation.

Officials claim that Tajzadeh is in good conditions in prison, but he strongly protests against illegal actions in an environment he considers unsafe. He informed me of this during a phone call and a meeting we had on Thursday, saying that he feels unsafe in prison and should be transferred to the general ward as soon as possible.

His contact was cut off for two weeks, and after the Evin fire, I learned about my husband’s condition much later than others, and I wasn’t relieved until I met with him. Ultimately, we had a meeting on Thursday where he protested against his conditions and the illegal actions.

Tajzadeh is deprived of regular and orderly phone calls and meetings, and access to news through radio, television, and newspapers. All facilities, including access to educational, sports, and library resources that other prisoners enjoy, are prohibited for him.
