On the evening of March 21, 2024, a devastating cancer took Faramarz Aslani, the poet, singer, composer, journalist, and a good person, away with the spring breeze in a farewell forever, while his hands were in the hands of his loved ones.

A few weeks ago, Faramarz Aslani announced his cancer diagnosis and stated that he intended to dedicate the remaining part of 2023 to treatment and taking care of his spirit.

Mr. Aslani wrote in an Instagram post in Persian and English that, like a traveler on this complex path, I too have felt the shadow of cancer, and therefore I announce that I intend to dedicate the remaining part of this year to treatment and taking care of my spirit. With every dawn, my heart gains more courage and invigorates my soul with more thought and energy to take a step on the path to recovery.
