Farideh Moradkhani Again Refuses to Attend the Special Clergy Court

Farideh Moradkhani’s repeated refusal to attend the Special Clerical Court

Farideh Moradkhani, the niece of the leader of the Islamic Republic, has refused to attend the Special Clerical Court for the third time.

Her brother, Mahmoud Moradkhani, tweeted on the evening of Thursday, April 13, that Ms. Moradkhani does not recognize the sham trials of the clerical regime.

Farideh Moradkhani was arrested on November 23 last year and later sentenced to imprisonment by the Special Clerical Court. In response to this ruling, her lawyer, Mohammad Hossein Aghasi, tweeted that his client was sentenced to 15 years in prison by the Special Clerical Court, which does not have the jurisdiction to address her charges.
