Fars News Agency: Transfer of Persepolis to Social Security Approved

Fars News Agency reported that the transfer of Persepolis to the Social Security Organization has been approved.

After years of ups and downs, it is finally planned for the two clubs, Persepolis and Esteghlal, to be transferred so that the issue of joint ownership of these two clubs is resolved, removing any obstacles to obtaining a professional license.

Recently, there has been discussion about transferring Persepolis to Shasta, but ultimately it is decided that the Social Security Organization, as a subsidiary of the Ministry of Labor, will take over the club to witness changes in Persepolis.

It has been informed that the transfer of Persepolis to the Social Security Organization has been approved as part of settling the government’s debt to this company, and soon Persepolis will be under the control of this powerful organization to witness a new era of club ownership in Iranian football.

Now we have to see whether this transfer will practically take place in the end, or if the decision will change again at the last moment.
