Fatal accident on Saveh highway with 11 dead and 6 injured

Behrouz Khanpour, head of the information center of the Faraja traffic police, reported a fatal accident on the Saveh-Hamedan road, stating that in this incident, three passenger cars, Samand, Pride, and Tiba, collided, resulting in 11 deaths and 6 injuries.

According to him, initial investigations show that the Samand car deviated from the main path and entered the opposite lane, resulting in a severe collision with the Pride and Tiba cars.

He stated that the main factor in this incident was the high speed of the Samand car and the driver’s inability to control it.

He added that the location of this accident is one of the accident-prone areas of the road, lacking warning signs and proper guidance.
