Fatemeh Sepahri’s brother: My sister’s temporary detention has been extended three times
Asghar Sepahri, the brother of Fatemeh Sepahri, a political activist arrested during the recent protests in Iran, wrote on Twitter that my sister’s temporary detention order has been extended three times so far.
He says that before her arrest, she had surgeries twice due to a mass in her left hand and needs physiotherapy, and according to the doctor, she should avoid psychological pressure and stress.
According to the brother of this political activist, Ms. Sepahri needs a proper diet due to diabetes and also suffers from hypertension, and since the last call for a gathering in December, her phone has been heavily monitored and her in-person visits have been canceled.
These restrictions have caused her to be in Vakilabad prison’s infirmary every day due to high blood pressure above 18.
Ms. Sepahri is one of the signatories of the letter requesting the resignation of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, and she was arrested in her home in September.
