Fierce attack by a parliament member on Bahonar: Be ashamed of your brother’s blood
Mohammad Taghi Naqd Ali, a parliament member, on Sunday, October 4, in response to Mohammad Reza Bahonar’s opinion on the hijab law, said: Someone who has long held the position of deputy speaker of this very parliament says hijab no longer has a legal basis. Be ashamed of your brother who was killed in the war.
Naqd Ali, stating that the devout people have the right to be angry with us, added: They see nudity, alcohol, and revealing clothing.
Alongside them, someone who has long held the position of deputy speaker of this very parliament says hijab no longer has a legal basis.
He added that if we do not take action and do not adhere to Sharia and do not implement the Sharia rulings regarding hijab, insecurity will definitely arise.
Mohammad Reza Bahonar, a member of the Expediency Discernment Council and former deputy speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, recently in an online interview, referring to the resolution of the Supreme National Security Council, said that from a legal standpoint, the hijab bill is no longer pursuable.
There is no longer any obligation regarding the hijab issue and no financial, criminal, or legal penalties.
Bahonar emphasized that paradigms in the Islamic Republic are being softly reformed.
