Filter of Mahsa Amini's Name from MCI's SMS System and Ministry of Communications' Unawareness

Filtering of the name Mahsa Amini from the SMS system of Hamrahe Aval and the Ministry of Communication’s unawareness

The Hamrahe Aval operator has filtered the name Mahsa Amini in SMS messages. In this regard, a reporter from the Sharq network initially approached the public relations of the Hamrahe Aval operator, but no one responded. The phone numbers provided on the information base of this operator also did not cooperate and did not answer his question.

Mohammad Ehsan Kharamid, advisor to the minister and head of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Communications, initially expressed unawareness of the issue during his conversation with the Sharq network reporter, but a few minutes later, in contact with the reporter, he stated:

The Ministry of Communications has not issued any order in this regard. The Ministry of Communications has also not received any order to filter SMS messages containing the name Mahsa Amini.
