Final Verdict for Sepideh Rashno Announced: Four Years Imprisonment

The final verdict for Sepideh Rashno was announced: four years in prison.

Milad Panahipour, Sepideh Rashno’s lawyer, wrote that she has been sentenced to an additional four months of definite imprisonment for the charge of publishing indecent images on social media, bringing the total to three years and 11 months for her two cases.

According to Rashno’s lawyer, the new case was formed due to her publishing a photo of herself and providing information regarding the disciplinary committee’s ruling at Alzahra University on Instagram.

In response to the issuance of the prison sentence against her, Sepideh Rashno wrote on Instagram that four years in prison for having hair is as sheer folly as imprisoning someone for having hands or feet.
