Financial Corruption Network in Iran’s Telecommunications
The financial corruption network in Iran’s telecommunications is being expanded by former managers such as Majid Sadri, the former CEO of Telecommunications and former member of Hamrah Aval, and Abolhassan Firouzabadi, the former secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace.
These individuals, without any oversight, have awarded server purchase contracts to their affiliated companies.
In a meeting titled Iran Corridor in the UAE, the current Minister of Communications, Sattar Hashemi, along with Mohammad Hossein Madadi and Shahab Vahabzadeh, signed contracts to procure second-hand and unusable telecommunications equipment.
Abolhassan Firouzabadi, the same person who is at the forefront of filtering advocacy, is secretly managing one of the largest illegal VPN sales networks.
Despite concrete evidence of these individuals’ massive debts, the banking system takes no action to reclaim the nation’s assets because this network enjoys strong security and judicial support.
