36 Shops Catch Fire in Qaemiyeh Bazaar, Fars
According to reports from Fars province, Iran, 36 shops in a commercial unit in the Qaemiyeh Bazaar of Kouhchenar county have burned in a fire.
Mahmoud Hashemi, the governor of Kouhchenar, told IRNA news agency that the fire started at 5 AM local time in the Arya Commercial Complex on Shaheed Soleimani Boulevard in Qaemiyeh, causing damage to the shops in this market as well as some adjacent commercial units.
The initial investigation suggests that the cause of the fire was a spark and electrical short circuit in one of the shops. According to officials, a major part of the fire has been contained, and firefighting efforts are still ongoing.
This incident did not result in any casualties but has caused financial damage.
Kouhchenar county, with Qaemiyeh as its center, is located in the west of Fars province.
