Firefighters in Rajaee Port to the Minister of Roads: We don’t have loaders and lifts

Hours after the explosion in Rajaee Port and the spread of the fire among container cargos, the firefighting team announced that they do not have the necessary equipment to control the fire.

Iranian media reported that firefighters, in the presence of Farzaneh Sadegh, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, requested the immediate provision of loaders and lifts to expedite the firefighting operation.

The lack of sufficient equipment has seriously hindered the process of controlling the fire.

The Minister of Interior in the Medical Council’s government also announced that the explosion at Rajaee Port has so far resulted in 40 deaths.
