Five out of every ten young Iranians are seeking to emigrate

Out of every ten young Iranians, five are looking to migrate.

According to a Stasis survey conducted in the last week of July and the first week of August 2022, one-third of Iranians would migrate from the country if the opportunity arose. This figure among young Iranians aged 18 to 29 is 49 percent.

The majority of Iranians also oppose the so-called ‘Protection of Cyberspace’ plan. Most Iranians believe that the main goal of the plan’s designers is to censor the internet and social networks.
