Flooding in Turkey

The heaviest rainfall in recent years in Şanlıurfa, Turkey, caused flooding, turning streets into lakes and sweeping away many vehicles.

The Şanlıurfa Governor’s Office requested people living in basements to evacuate their homes and stay away from streams and canals. Many streets in the city have been flooded due to the heavy rain that started last night.
