Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Denies Summoning Swiss Ambassador to IRGC

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denies the summoning of the Swiss ambassador to the IRGC

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, regarding the exchange of messages between Iran and the United States through Turkey and the statements of Turkish officials on this matter, said I cannot confirm that the U.S. government, given the complexity of developments and Iran’s determination for a decisive response, has sent multiple messages through diplomatic channels in the past two to three weeks, and the necessary responses have been provided.

The most important diplomatic channel was Switzerland, as the protector of interests. The U.S. also sent messages through other channels, which were responded to through the same channels.

Kanaani, regarding the claims about the summoning of the Swiss ambassador to the IRGC, said the relevant authorities have denied the summoning of the Swiss ambassador to the IRGC. Switzerland has been the most important channel for diplomatic message exchange.
