The Foreign Ministry spokesperson advises the European side not to be influenced by the Zionist regime
Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in his weekly press conference regarding the European Troika’s statement against Iran, said
This is an incorrect statement at an incorrect time, resulting from the European side’s incorrect calculations. Iran took the initiative to bring the path towards an agreement, and the expectation was that the opposing parties would act constructively.
The signing of the 2015 agreement and the Agency’s report indicating the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program is regrettable. The issuers of this statement, instead of appreciating Iran’s constructive role, have been influenced by a regime that has no safeguards system. The Zionist regime has never played a constructive role in the negotiations, and its destructive role has always been clear. Our expectation from the European side is that they do not come under its influence and play their constructive role.
