The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Iran-U.S. negotiations in Rome have been canceled.
Ismail Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, told the Rooz Plus news website that the meeting between the officials of the Islamic Republic and representatives from Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, which was supposed to be held on Friday in Rome, has been canceled and postponed to another date.
He stated that the reason for this decision was the postponement of the fourth round of negotiations between Tehran and Washington and the lack of dispatch of the Islamic Republic’s delegation to Rome.
Baghaei said that the new date for this meeting will be determined with the agreement of all parties.
