Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Urges European Side Not to Be Influenced by the Zionist Regime

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson advises the European side not to be influenced by the Zionist regime.

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in his weekly press conference, spoke about the European troika’s statement against Iran, saying

This is an incorrect statement made at the wrong time and stems from the European side’s incorrect calculations. Iran took the initiative to lead the path towards an agreement, and the expectation was that the opposing parties would act constructively.

The signing of the 2015 agreement and the agency’s report indicating the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program are noteworthy. It is regrettable that the issuers of this statement, instead of appreciating Iran’s constructive role, have been influenced by a regime that is not subject to any safeguards. The Zionist regime has never played a constructive role in negotiations, and its destructive role has always been clear. Our expectation from the European side is not to be influenced by it and to play their constructive role.
