The Al Jazeera reporter’s claim: With the recent agreement, 23 billion dollars of Iran’s assets have been released, 5 billion of which is related to Iran’s assets in Japan.

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to a question about Al Jazeera’s claim that 23 billion dollars of Iran’s assets have been released based on the agreement, out of which approximately 5 billion is related to Iran’s assets in Japan, told the questioning reporter: I neither confirm the number 5 billion nor the other figure you mentioned.
