Foreign Ministry Spokesperson’s Reaction to Sullivan’s Remarks: We Will Use All Diplomatic Channels and Opportunities

The spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, in response to the remarks made by Jake Sullivan, the National Security Advisor of the White House, regarding indirect negotiations for the release of prisoners, stated that we will use all diplomatic channels and opportunities, including mediated talks and the exchange of mediated messages, to uphold the legitimate rights of the Iranian nation on the nuclear issue and will not miss any opportunity.

He added that diplomatic efforts are ongoing and we will pursue this path in accordance with the conditions and opportunities, both in connection with the release of prisoners and the unblocking of Iran’s financial assets, as well as in relation to the negotiations for lifting sanctions. These talks and exchanges of messages continue with ups and downs and are considered an ongoing process.
