Formation of a Committee to Collect and Pursue Documentation of Incidents Against Iranian Citizens in the UK

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London announced that, in order to pursue crimes related to physical and psychological harassment against Iranian citizens during the presidential elections, a committee consisting of British lawyers and legal experts has been formed.

According to IRNA, the Iranian Embassy in London emphasized that meetings have been held with British police officials regarding this matter, and available footage along with identifications have been handed over to the police. All insults and threats are being subtitled in English and submitted to the police, legal institutions, and relevant courts.

No report has yet been released by the British police regarding this matter. Typically, in the British political scene, supporters and opponents gather and demonstrate alongside each other, and as long as no physical confrontation occurs, any form of political protest gathering is permitted in this country.
