Former Slovak National Player: I Was Forced to Sell My Tickets

Former Slovak national player had to sell his tickets

The former Slovak national football team player was forced to sell four tickets for the crucial 2022 World Cup matches

According to Eurostavka, Martin Jakubko heavily criticized the organization of the 2022 World Cup, stating he was forced to sell the tickets he had purchased for the tournament against his will

The former Slovak national football team player said, ‘I had bought tickets for the final, two semi-final matches, and the third-place play-off of the 2022 World Cup, but I had to sell them three weeks ago. I couldn’t find accommodation in Qatar, and all the hotels had issues. You can’t find anything in the hotel booking system, and if you do, it’s three, five, or ten thousand euros per night. The prices are insane.’

Jakubko added, ‘I don’t know which idiot thought of hosting the World Cup in Qatar. In four months, I couldn’t find a place to stay. I even talked to the Slovak Football Association, but they couldn’t help me either.’
