Four Arab and Islamic countries called for a sustainable and verifiable agreement between Iran and the United States.
The foreign ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan emphasized the need for rapid progress in the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States in Switzerland during their joint meeting in Cairo, and called for reaching a sustainable and mutually acceptable agreement.
In their joint statement, these four countries announced their support for diplomatic efforts to resolve differences between Tehran and Washington and expressed their desire for an agreement that provides a lasting, verifiable, and mutually acceptable solution.
The statement also emphasized the necessity of addressing the security concerns of regional countries, especially the security and stability of the Gulf region countries.
