German and Austrian Ambassadors Summoned to Iranian Foreign Ministry

The ambassadors of Germany and Austria were summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry

Following the summoning of the heads of Iran’s missions in Berlin and Vienna after the Islamic Republic’s missile attacks on Israeli soil, known as Operation Promise of Truth 2, the German and Austrian ambassadors were summoned separately to the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Thursday, October 3, equivalent to Mehr 13.

According to IRNA, the Director General for Western Europe stated, following the summoning of the German and Austrian ambassadors, that the actions of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces were in line with the principle of legitimate defense as stated in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, and after two months of restraint, were aimed at contributing to the establishment of lasting peace and security in the region.

This Foreign Ministry official added that from the Islamic Republic’s perspective, if the European parties had taken effective and practical actions, including cutting off financial and military support, to timely prevent Israeli aggressions, we would not be witnessing such tragedies today.
